Description
TDA1541A Non OverSampling (NOS) DAC with Philips HiFi Forum 10th anniversary boardMaybe, I don't have to explain TDA1541.
TDA1541 was developed in 1980s, but its fresh, vivid sound surprises us even today.
It is still one of the best DAC in digital audio history.
I listening to TDA1541-converted sound every day
(even while I'm writing this draft). Great sound!
This DAC set uses Philips HiFi Forum 10th anniversary board and parts,
which is the best choice in the current audio market.
A jumper socket is mounted instead of SAA7220.
SAA7220 is not included.
TDA1541A is socket-mounted.
You may replace with a single- (S1) or double-crown (S2) chip if you have.
Also, the op-amps are replaceable.
There are large spaces on the board so modifications are easy (DEM, etc.)
It is so hard to find an antique CD player with TDA1541(A) in good condition.
Also, repair and maintenance is another headache.
It is better idea to invest your money in a DAC set, not in an old CD player.
This DAC set is the easiest way to "experience" TDA1541A NOS sound.
Maybe, TDA1541chip will be unavailable soon.
Don't miss this opportunity before it's too late.
