HP-DAC1 Application Scene
USB will be the best connection for play the digital music file from your PC/Laptop, the digital audio signal will be passed to the HP-DAC1 to let it do the digital-to-analog converting and analog processing / output, provides clarity, separation, less muffing sound (Window & MaxOS are supported with No driver installation required)
Optical digital connection will be the best option for connecting with AppleTV, PS4/Xbox game console, network audio player, digital media player, or Squeezebox. You will find the great detail and transparency sound quality.
If the audio player doesn't have digital output, then the RCA analog inputs from the HP-DAC1 can be used to connect your audio devices, such as the CD player for warmer and smoother sound thru HP-DAC1's preamp stage.
When you connecting the DAC with your amplifier or power speakers, you can connect it via the RCA Line Outputs, the DAC will act as a Pre-Amplifier to provide the good bass frequency and clear high/mid range sound.
