DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES:

It adds warmth, removes harshness, and kicks your speakers into action. It is a pre-amp and tube buffer with gain settings so it can be tailored to suit any home audio system. It is a tubed output stage, tube line stage preamp, tube buffer AND an impedance matching device all in one. Digital Antidote takes the 'harsh edge' from most digital sources that 'rings' in the ear. 3D Holographic for speakers restores the 'collapsed sound field' found in many systems to recreate a live stage atmosphere. XBass+ cleans up and restores a rich, deeper bass line. Try three different key sonic signatures: Single-Ended Triode, Push-Pull Tube, and Classic Tube. Tri-brid stage offers input impedances of 1M ohm (Buffer) to 100k (Preamp) with the ability to drive professional 600 Ohm loads. High quality General Electric GE5670 tubes add that extra warmth into the sound in any stage. With nearly every home system being solid-state, the iTube2 puts the soul back into the music.
3D Sound:
The 3D Holographic Sound is for Speakers. On the ‘Standard’ setting with ‘*’ simply puts the bass back where it belongs, leaving the rest untouched. The 3D Holographic Sound ‘Wide’ setting with ‘***’ additionally widens the Stereo sound field, for use in situations where a very narrow speaker placement is enforced such as on a desk.
The Enclosure:
The iTube2 features the iFi aluminum block. This enclosure acts as a shield against harmful electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI) to further minimize noise. Blocking all the noise coming from a PC results in vast sound quality improvements. Non-aluminum designs offer little to no shielding from EMI/RFI.
