    Description

CATRINA BRIDE Huichol Beaded Art Figurine Signed COA Mexican Day of the Dead
Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous Indian people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.
Absolutely gorgeous, authentic, elegant black pink theme glass beaded clay, Day of the Dead Catrina Bride sculpture figurine.  Using the traditional Huichol techniques of pressing Campeche wax onto this sculpture and adding, one-by-one, glass beads this Day of the Dead La Calavera Catrina depicts the offering message.  Handmade by the talented Mexican Huichol Indian artist, Isaias Bautista Carrillo, Turatemai, in Mexico.  Isaias' designs have that
    haute couture
    elegance.
A COA, certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, is included
    .
Dressed in a gorgeous beaded strapless bridal gown, with pink, ivory and platinum pearl color bead accents, this Catrina portrays a sassy and elegant pose while holding her delicate red rose beaded bouquet.  Her mermaid style gown, ruffled at the bottom, has the serpent and Father Sun protecting her wedding day with blessings.
Her gorgeous gown has a draped front with the rain for successful crops, the scorpion protecter and nourishing corn honoring her bosom.  On the back of her dress is the Peyote flower and an Urus, or arrow, shooting into the sky for special blessings.
Her gorgeous long veil, in 1920's clouche headdress style, with pink Peyote flowers for future success is embellished with the Messenger Deer (spiritual guide between men and women), the corn and the rain for future crops.  Her head is detachable and we love her dangle style platinum pearl and ivory color earrings with Peyote flowers.
The symbols used on her gown and veil make her seem as if she is preparing for her special day in a most elegant way.  Gorgeous!
